# /launch

Takes a built-but-unbranded software product from working prototype to launch-ready. Covers market research, brand identity, landing page, and go-to-market strategy.

## Usage

```
/launch
/launch [project name]
```

## When to Activate

- User says `/launch`
- User has a working product and wants to prepare for launch
- User needs brand identity, landing page, or pricing strategy

## Process

### Phase 1: Product Audit

Understand what exists:

- What does the product do?
- Who is the target user?
- What's the current state (MVP, beta, production)?
- What's the tech stack?

### Phase 2: Market Research

Use web search to:

1. Identify 5-10 competitors
2. Analyze their positioning and pricing
3. Find gaps in the market
4. Identify target audience communities

### Phase 3: Positioning

Define:

- **One-liner** — "X for Y" or "The Z that does W"
- **Value props** — 3 key benefits
- **Differentiator** — why this over alternatives
- **Pricing model** — free, freemium, paid, usage-based

### Phase 4: Brand Identity

Generate:

- **Color palette** — primary, secondary, accent, neutrals
- **Typography** — heading and body font pairing
- **App icon** — concept description for generation
- **Wordmark** — styled text logo concept

### Phase 5: Landing Page

Create a landing page with:

- Hero section with headline and CTA
- Feature highlights (3-4 key features)
- Social proof section (testimonials, stats)
- Pricing table
- FAQ section
- Footer with links

### Phase 6: Go-to-Market

Draft:

- Launch checklist
- Distribution channels
- Content marketing plan (first 5 posts)
- Community engagement strategy

## Output

Brand guide, landing page code, pricing strategy, and launch checklist — everything needed to go from prototype to public product.
